DAY 1 – Mumbai – Christchurch :-
On arrival in Christchurch `The Garden City', you will be met by our local representative for either a private transfer to your hotel or collection of your rental car. Overnight at the hotel
DAY 2 – Christchurch – Kaikoura :-
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel through North Canterbury before turning towards the coast and arriving in Kaikoura, a town steeped in Maori history and legend. Enjoy a Whale Watch experience by boat (weather permitting).You will have the opportunity to view the magnificent Sperm Whale as well as New Zealand's own tiny Hectors Dolphin, Fur Seals and the Royal Albatross. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel (B)
DAY 3 – Kaikoura – Blenheim :-
Breakfast at the hotel. A leisurely start this morning before you continue north to Blenheim, the centre of the Marlborough region and New Zealand's most famous wine growing area. This afternoon you will take a tour of some of the area's award-winning wineries. Overnight at the hotel (B)
DAY 4 – Blenhim – Nelson :-
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning is at leisure to wander around Blenheim and experience a vibrant town in rural New Zealand. This afternoon you will travel through to Nelson for the evening . Overnight at the hotel (B)
DAY 5 – Nelson :-
Breakfast at the hotel. At leisure to enjoy Nelson. Optional activities include a day excursion to Abel Tasman National Park or enjoy a visit to one of the many wineries in the region. Optional activities not included in tour price . Overnight at the hotel (B)
DAY 6 – Nelson – Punakaiki :-
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel across hill country today through the Buller Gorge to Westport and down the coast to the famous Punakaiki Pancake Rocks . Overnight at the hotel (B)
DAY 7 – Punakaiki – Greymouth – Christchurch :-
Breakfast at the hotel. A short journey today to reach the town of Greymouth. Board the TranzAlpine train (seat in coach passengers only) and travel through the rainforest of the West Coast to reach the Arthur's Pass National Park and the Southern Alps, before descending through the rugged gorges of the Waimakariri and across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch. Overnight at the hotel (B)
DAY 8 – Christchurch - Mumbai :-
After breakfast at the hotel we transfer you to the airport for onward flight to Mumbai. Return home with all the wonderful memories of your tour with Equino Fun Holidays. [B]
