DETAILED ITINERARY:-
Day 1: Zurich - Lucerne
Welcome to Equino Fun Holidays 'Glimpse of Switzerland'. On arrival at Zurich International Airport, transfer by train to Europe's most charming small city - Lucerne. Spend the rest of day at leisure

Enjoy a tour of this City of Lights (on your own) which is a mixture of Renaissance and medieval architecture combined with its laid back continental ambience. Here you will find some of the best preserved medieval structures found anywhere on the continent. The most photographed structure in Europe " The Lucerne Water Tower " stands on River Reuss here for the past 700-years.The simple splendour of the cities covered wooden bridges the Kapellbrücke or The Chapel Bridge is also admirable. After admiring the architecture and refined style don't forget to see The Lion Monument built to commemorate some 700 Swiss missionaries who died in defence of French King Louis in 1792. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 2: Lucerne - Mt. Titlis
Enjoy your Breakfast in the Morning. Today take an adventure excursion to the highest vantage point in Central Switzerland, Mt. Titlis. From Lucerne the train takes you to the mountain monastery village of Engelberg where you board a gondola which take you up to the Trubsee. You continue your trip by another gondola to Stand and finally the first glacier, visit the galcier cave and ride the Ice Flyer chairlift over the glacier with fantastic views into crevasses and ice falls and enjoy slide on the ' Fun Lift'. (These activities are included in our tour). Overnight at hotel in Lucerne.
Day 3: Lucerne
After your Buffet breakfast, spend the rest of the day at leisure

Proceed for an excursion to Mt. Pilatus. There is hardly another mountain in Switzerland surrounded by as many legends as Mount Pilatus. Mount Pilatus also encompasses an extraordinary, beautiful mountainscape symbolic of the country's magnificent natural splendour. Steeped in legend and tradition, this towering expanse in central Switzerland offers a magnificent alpine panorama and nature at its most impressive. To reach the mountain peak, take a short bus journey to Kriens. You take a ride with the panoramic gondolas and aerial cableway to Mount Pilatus (7000 ft / 2132 m). From here you will enjoy an unforgettable view over the surrounding mountains and lakes. Descend on the world's steepest cogwheel railway (48% gradient) to Alpnachstad. A boat ride on Lake Lucerne and you reach back to Lucerne. Overnight at hotel in Lucerne.
Day 4: Lucerne - Interlaken
After Breakfast in the morning, proceed to Lucerne train station for transfer to Interlaken, one of the most scenic place in Switzerland. Spend the rest of the day at leisure OR exploring this enchanting ancient city on your own. Overnight at hotel in Interlaken.
Day 5: Interlaken - Mt. Jungfraujoch
Enjoy a Buffet Breakfast in the morning. Today, proceed to visit JUNGFRAUJOCH world's highest Railway station at 11333 ft. and be on the top of the world. Your train journey begins from the Interlaken Ost station and takes you via Kleine Scheidegg and through the Eiger North Wall up to the scenic splendours of the Jungfraujoch in the heart of a wonderworld of Glaciers and eternal ice. Discover the Snow covered peaks, the Sphinx, Observation Building overlooking the Aletsch Glacier. Also visit the beauitful Ice Palace. The first ice sculptures appear, as you step into a shimmering blue world of eternal ice. Overnight at hotel in Interlaken.
Day 6: Interlaken - Zurich
After your Breakfast, proceed to Interlaken train station for transfer to Zurich, most important city economically in Europe. On arrival at Zurich train station, proceed to the hotel and check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Zurich.
Day 7: Zurich - India
Enjoy breakfast in the morning. Today, say goodbye to this marvelous city and proceed to Zurich International Airport for your flight back to India. |
