Explore a land of glaciers along the Continental Divide. This is where the Columbia Icefield is located, a vast icefield that is the largest accumulation of ice in the entire chain of the Rocky Mountains. It is just one of the many natural wonders you will explore on this vacation!

Day 1 : Toronto Arrival (B)

Upon arrival into Toronto, transfer via complimentary transfer service to your airport hotel. Spend the night exploring the area.

Day 2 : Toronto to Calgary to Lake Louise (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Return to the Toronto Airport today via complimentary transfer service and board your plane to Calgary. Upon arrival in Calgary, transfer via scheduled motor coach service to Lake Louise. Travel through the foothills of the Rockies, past the mountain towns of Canmore and Banff and into Lake Louise, the “Jewel of the Rockies.” Once you arrive, the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 : Lake Louise to Jasper (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Today’s journey travels north along the famous Icefields Parkway, one of the most spectacular highways in North America. This excursion to Jasper today tours through Banff and Jasper National Parks with a stop at the Columbia Icefield allowing time for a Brewster “Glacier Experience.” This excursion onto the icy slopes of the Athabasca Glacier in a specially designed Brewster Ice Explorer stops in the middle of the glacier and the driver/guide explains how the glaciers are formed and points out interesting geological features (Ice Explorer included). The ice is 365 metres (1,200 feet) thick - about the height of the Empire State Building. At the icefall below the glacial headwall, take the option of stepping out onto the ice formed from snow that fell 400 years ago. After this unique ice adventure, time is allowed at the Columbia Icefield Centre, to relax over lunch (not included) and visit the new and expanded Parks Canada Interpretive Centre. Leaving the Athabasca Glacier, your camera should be ready to capture the majesty of the Athabasca Falls, prior to arrival into Jasper.

Day 4 : Jasper (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Have a free day in Jasper. Explore the area. Visit the Jasper Tramway or take an optional tour of Jasper.

Day 5 : Jasper to Banff (B)

Breakfast at hotel. This morning is free to relax and enjoy the scenery. This afternoon, depart Jasper and travel south along the scenic Icefields Parkway to Banff. (Note: this is an express service and will not stop at the Columbia Icefield or other sightseeing highlights.)

Overnight in Banff.


Day 6 : Banff (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Today is at leisure. You may wish to take an optional sightseeing tour or visit the local attractions. Attractions and Sightseeing in the area include the Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka, horse-drawn carriages, golf and Johnston Canyon.

Overnight in Banff.


Day 7 : Banff to Calgary to Toronto (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Today, transfer to Calgary International Airport or downtown hotel (transfer included). You will depart Banff and travel past the mountain town of Canmore, through the frontal range of the Rockies and continue into the foothills to the city of Calgary. You will be dropped off at the Calgary International Airport for your flight to Toronto. Upon arrival into Toronto, transfer via complimentary transfer service to your airport hotel.

Day 8 : Toronto Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel. A check out from your hotel and transfer via complimentary scheduled service to the airport ends your stay.
