Day 1 : Athens

On arrival at you will be met and assisted by our representative for comfortable transfer to hotel. On arrival at the hotel check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Athens.


Day 2 : Athens

Today after breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and start the half-day tour to Athens. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Presidential residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon. Return at your hotel. Rest of the evening is free. Overnight stay at a hotel in Athens.


Day 3 : Athens

Enjoy a delicious Breakfast in the morning. Later, depart for a full day cruise to the Saronic Islands of Aegina, Poros and Hydra. This Cruise will give you a flavour of the Saronic Islands. Leave Athens early in the morning by bus to Paleon Phaleron, Trocadero Harbour. Sail for the Island of Aegina, the main producer of colorful pistachio nuts in Greece. The Island has much to offer in the way of sandy beaches along with delightful fishing villages and a rich varied landscape. (Optional visit to the Temple of Athena Aphaia dedicated to an ancient goddess who was the protectress of the islands.) Cruise through the Straits to Poros an island lush with a maze of narrow streets. You can visit this lsland. After a marvellous lunch, proceed to the Island of Hydra, home to a large artist community and where beautiful botiques line the scenic. Overnight stay at a hotel in Athens.


Day 4 : Athens-Mykonos

Today after breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Athens and transferred to Piraeus port for your ferry embarkation to Mykonos Island. Mykonos sits amidst the Aegean Sea like a unique jewel handcrafted by time, the Greek sun and an anonymous local craftsman. All that can be said or written about Mykonos would be just too little. For centuries Mykonos existed under the shade of the religious centre of Delos and it had to wait until the 20th century to reach its international status and win a place on the world tourist map. Mykonos, famously called 'the island of the winds' due to the constant wind that blows, is the most popular and cosmopolitan island of the Cyclades and considered as one the most famous islands of the world. The sunlight of Mykonos from its first sunshine of dawn all the way to its last of the sunset is astonishing and supplements an atmosphere of images that seem to have sprung out of a painting. Day 5 : Mykonos

Today, after breakfast the day will be free in order explore the island. Day 6 : Mykonos-Santorini

Today, after breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Mykonos port for your ferry embarkation to Santorini Island. Day 7 : Santorini

Today, after breakfast you will be picked up for a cruise at the caldera and its hot springs. During this tour, you will have the unique chance to visit the active volcano of Santorini, walk on dried lava up to its peak, feel the heat underneath your feet and see the steam of sulphuric gases emerging from the earth bowels. Next, you will sail to the thermal springs where you can dive or step down into the blue waters in order to swim towards the springs (35-36 C). Last you will visit the traditional sister island of Santorini, Thirassia, where you can either swim, go up to the village or simply relax and have something to eat. Return at your hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Santorini.


Day 8 : Departure

Today, after breakfast you will be transferred at Santorini airport for your departure flight via Athens.

Tour 1: From Athens

One night two days Delphi-Meteora

Itinerary:

Day 1:
Transfer to renowned Delphi. One hour and a half at leisure to stroll the picturesque village, enjoy the breathtaking scenery from the slopes of Mountain Parnassos till Itea, take pictures and enjoy a Greek coffee. Leave for Kalambaka passing through picturesque villages and towns of central Greece. Overnight in Kalambaka.

Day 2:
Visit Meteora and enjoy a unique and most impressive scenery with ageless Monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between earth and sky atop huge rocks. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (photo stop at Leonida’s monument) arrives in Athens early in the evening.

N.B. visits to archaeological sites and the Museum in Delphi are not included. Please ladies for the visit of the Monastery you need a skirt and the gentlemen long trousers.

Itinerary:

Day 01: Athens - Olympia
Enjoy the Breakfast at hotel and leave by Coastal road to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidaurus famous for its remarkable acoustics. Then proceed to the town of Nauplion (short stop), drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Then depart for Olympia through Central Peloponnese and the Towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis, the Cradle of Olympic Games. Overnight at the hotel in Olympia.

Meals: Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 02: Olympia - Delphi
Enjoy the Breakfast at hotel and proceed for a visit to Archaeological site with the Sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Then drive on through the plains of Eliad and Achaia until the magnificient bridge which is crossing the Corinthian Bay from Rion to Antirion. Later pass by the pictureque Towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea and then arrive to Delphi. Overnight at the hotel in Delphi.

Day 03: Delphi – Kalambaka
Enjoy the Breakfast at hotel and visit to Archaeological Site and the Museum and then depart to Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing complex of Meteora , gigantic rocks.

Day 04: Kalambaka - Athens
Enjoy the Breakfast at hotel and take a visit to Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on the top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air , stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Later return to Athens via Trikala Lamia, Thermopylae (photo stop at Leonidas monument). In evening, arrive at Athens. Overnight at the hotel in Athens.
