Greece with Cruise

Day 1 : Athens

On arrival at you will be met and assisted by our representative for comfortable transfer to hotel. On arrival at the hotel check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Athens.


Day 2 : Athens

Today after breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and start the half-day tour to Athens. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Presidential residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon. Return at your hotel. Rest of the evening is free. Overnight stay at a hotel in Athens.


Day 3 : Athens

Enjoy a delicious Breakfast in the morning. Later, depart for a full day cruise to the Saronic Islands of Aegina, Poros and Hydra. This Cruise will give you a flavour of the Saronic Islands. Leave Athens early in the morning by bus to Paleon Phaleron, Trocadero Harbour. Sail for the Island of Aegina, the main producer of colorful pistachio nuts in Greece. The Island has much to offer in the way of sandy beaches along with delightful fishing villages and a rich varied landscape. (Optional visit to the Temple of Athena Aphaia dedicated to an ancient goddess who was the protectress of the islands.) Cruise through the Straits to Poros an island lush with a maze of narrow streets. You can visit this lsland. After a marvellous lunch, proceed to the Island of Hydra, home to a large artist community and where beautiful botiques line the scenic. Overnight stay at a hotel in Athens.


Day 4 : Athens- On Board Louis Olympia

After an early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Piraeus port to board Louis Olympia. Complete your check in procedures and board the cruise. Arrive Mykonos in the evening at 1800. Leave the port at 2300 and sail the night on board.


Day 5 : Cruise Louis Olympia

Touch the port of Kusadasi, Turkey in the morning at 0700am. Enjoy the additional shore excursions top visit the land of Turkey.

Ancient Ephesus through the ages - Hellenistic and Roman – Half day

Ancient Ephesus and the Terrace Houses – Full day

Leave at 1200hrs and sail to Patmos, Greece and arrive at 1600hrs. This island is known as the site of the apocalyptic revelations of St. John the Divine, written here during his exile from the Roman Empire. The cave where he lived is near the site of the Monastery of the Apocalypse. The Monastery of St. John, built on one of the islands highest points, houses priceless icons and manuscripts in its Treasury.

Day 6 : Cruise Louis Olympia

Sail through the night and arrive Rhodes at 0700am. The beautiful Island of Roses has a rich and varied history. On a hill above the charming town of Lindos rises an ancient acropolis dedicated to the goddess Athena. Below lies the bay of St. Paul, where the apostle landed during his voyages.

Scuba Diving in the Mediterranean sea – Half Day

Walking tour in the Medieval City of Rhodes – Half Day

Leave the port at 1800hrs.


Day 7 : Cruise Louis Olympia

Arrive at the port of Crete - Heraklion is just three miles away from the fantastic ruins of the Palace of Knossos. Discovered in 1899 and partially reconstructed, the elaborate Palace is believed to be the mythical Labyrinth of King Minos and the seat of ancient Minoan culture.

Leave at 1200hrs.

Sail to the island of Santorini, perhaps the most breathtaking of all the Greek Islands. In the town of Thira white-washed houses, narrow streets, open-air cafes and glittering boutiques cling to steep cliffs, accessible by cable-car or mule. Arrive at 1600hrs

Depart at 2100hrs.


Day 8 : Cruise Louis Olympia – Athens – India

Disembark from the cruise and transfer to the airport for your flight back to India.
