Day 1 : India – Innsbruck
Welcome to Equino Fun Holidays ' Best of Austria’ on arrival in Innsbruck, check into your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Day 2 : Innsbruck - Swarovski Crystal Museum - Salzburg
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a visit to the amazing and sparking world of crystals ‘The Swarovski Crystal Museum’. This tour will take you to explore the fantastic and sparkling world of Swarovski. Aboard a fast and comfortable coach from central Innsbruck (30 minutes drive), you will be taken to the world famous Swarovski Kristallwelten, situated in Wattens. The water spouting Giant (a remarkable huge face sculptured on top of a rock) will amaze you with his sparkling eyes. Inside the Giant, a whole crystal world awaits you: the Chambers of Wonders containing the Planet of Crystals, the Crystal Dome, the Crystal Theatre, the Ice passage and the Floating Poem. They all witness the level of artistic perfection reached by Swarovski and their images will be etched in your mind forever.
Return to you hotel and proceed to the railway station to board a train to Salzburg, the Mozart City. On arrival check into your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Salzburg.
Day 3 : Salzburg - Mozart City Tour @ 0930 Duration 1hr 30mins
After breakfast at the hotel, Stroll through Mozart's Salzburg and take a closer look at the main sights of this picturesque city. The city tour begins by the Palace of Mirabell which was built in year 1606 and today home to the office of the local Mayor and city offices. Then pass the Mozarteum (University of Music) one of the world's most prestigious music academies. You will arrive in Markart Square with the Landestheatre (The Regional Theatre), The Trinity Church and Mozart's Wohnhaus (Mozart's Residence), where the composer lived for many years. Crossing over the Salzach (Salt) river you will have a wonderful view of this magical city. You will pass by the Law Courts on the way to the Hellbrunn Palace where you will have a short photo stop. Hellbrunn Palace was built at the start of the 17th century to the design of the great architect Santino Solari and used as a hunting lodge and weekend residence by Salzburg's Archbishops. On the way back to the city centre you will pass by the Palace of Frohnburg and the Nonnberg Abbey, situated beneath the impressive Hohensalzburg Fortress, before entering the heart of the city through the Siegmunds Gate. Once in the old city you will pass by the Festival Halls, Old University, Horse Pond, Getreidegasse and the Blasius Church. The tour finishes in Mozart Square where you will see the famous Mozart statue and the Cathedral.
The Unique Sound of Music Tour @ 1400 Duration 4Hours
Relive the true story of the Von Trapp family which was filmed as the 'Sound of Music' in the Salzburg area. The tour, which has been Salzburg's most popular tour for over 20 years, is a combination of sightseeing in this historical city itself and in the beautiful lakes and mountains area known as the Salzkammergut, which is also a famous musical and cultural centre. The highlights and film locations of the 'Sound of Music', such as the beautiful gardens in Hellbrunn (where Liesl and Rolf sang 'I am 16 going on 17'), and the wedding church in Mondsee are a treat for all fans of the film.

Day 4 : Salzburg – Vienna – City Tour and Schonbrunn Palace @ 1445
After an early breakfast proceed to the train station to board a high speed train to Vienna, the capital city of Austria. Check into your hotel, you will have time for a quick lunch before you proceed for your city tour and visit to the Schonbrunn Palace. The city tour of Vienna will introduce you to the most important sights of the Austrian capital. As we drive around the famous 'Ringstrasse', Vienna's main boulevard, we pass by the State Opera, the Museums of Fine Art and Natural History, the Parliament building, the Burgtheater (National Theatre), the City Hall and the University. We then drive along the Danube Canal and pass by Hundertwasser's 'Kunsthaus' and the Prater Park with its Giant Ferris Wheel. The highlight of this programme is the visit to Schonbrunn Palace where we take a tour of some of the most magnificently decorated rooms. We return to the city centre, passing by Belvedere Palace, where you will have the opportunity to end your tour, or you can choose to continue to the State Opera House, where the tour ends. Return to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Vienna.
Day 5 : Vienna
After breakfast, spend the rest of the day at leisure or choose from one of the optional tours. Overnight at the hotel in Vienna.
Day 6 : Vienna - India
Enjoy breakfast in the morning. Day free till departure time. Later proceed to Vienna (Schwechat) International Airport for your flight back to India.

Innsbruck Tyrolean Show

Salzburg Ice Caves Tour

This tour takes you along the scenic Salzach Valley to Werfen, where the fortress of Hohenwerfen has protected the pass since the 11th century. Take a moment to enjoy the impressive view before we make our way to the parking lot of the caves. From there we continue on foot and via cable car to the entrance of the caves where your thrilling and chilling adventure begins: a walking tour through the wonderful world of unique ice formations. The average temperature in the summer is 0 degrees Celsius/32 degrees Fahrenheit.

Leaving Salzburg passing by Hellbrunn we cross the German border. Driving past the Salt mines our first stop will be at the King's Lake , Konigssee, known as 'The prettiest lake in Germany' and part of the Berchtesgaden National Park. Enjoy this short break to marvel at the scenery, the Bavarian mountains towering above you and proving a magnificent backdrop to the lake. We then drive to the town of Berchtesgaden, nestled in the foothills of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy your free time strolling around the centre, historical buildings, churches and perhaps a local speciality or two! Returning back to the centre of Salzburg in the late afternoon.

Starting in the city of Salzburg we pass by the area of Hellbrunn, taking us directly to the Salt mines. Before entering the mine you will dress like a miner (protective clothing provided) and then travel by miner's train into the heart of the mountain. Once inside this remarkable underground world the knowledgeable local miner/guide will amaze you with tales of the history of the salt, how it was mined, transported and used. Going down further into the caverns you can use the miners' slides, great fun for all ages. Then be amazed within the mountain as you travel by raft across a Salt Lake. Once you have been enchanted within these underground labyrinths you will return to the outside world by miners' train. Travel back to Salzburg passing by the Untersberg Mountain.
Vienna, Leopold Museum

At the Leopold museum you will see one of the most important collections of the Austrian modern art in the world. This was collected by Mr Rudolf and Ms Elisabeth Leopold over a period of 5 decades. You can admire 5000 exhibits including the works of Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, Oskar Kokoschka and many others during the course of this permanent exhibition. In addition there are regular special exhibitions too.
Vienna, Woods and Mayerling

We take you to the southern part of Vienna Woods, passing by the roman city of Baden, before we reaching Mayerling, where we visit the convent. The former hunting-lodge of Crownprince Rudolph. We continue with a visit to the Abbey of Heiligenkreuz where we will see the tomb of the Babengerd Family. Finally we will visit the 'Seegrotte', or 'Seagrotto' for a boat ride on Europe's largest subterranean lake before returning to Vienna where the tour will end at the Opera House.

The concert is in two halves with the orchestra playing Mozart in the first half and Strauss in the second. The Orangerie Schonbrunn opens out onto part of Schonbrunn Palace's gardens, where clients can walk during the interval as well as before and after the performance.

Panorama & Danube

Relax on a boat trip on the Danube and enjoy a short drive out into Vienna Woods. We start the tour with a boat-trip on the mighty Danube, to see the famous sights of Hundertwasser. We then pass through modern Vienna with its impressive UN building and the Danube Tower en route for the northern part of the city, the 'Cobenzl' (or Northern Vienna Woods). From here you will have a marvellous panoramic view over Vienna. Then, passing by the picturesque little wine growing village of Grinzing, we return to the city centre where the tour ends.
