This tour will take you around the best of Toulouse in two hours, The first visit into the historical centre offers a beautiful scenic coverage of the town's iconic monuments like. Built in the 16th century, this fortified looking building formerly hosted the city's archives and was used for town meetings. It is crowned with crenellated ramparts and is flanked by four watch turrets. The slate tiled belfry was an addition of the late 19th century by architect Viollet-le-Duc. The tower now houses the town's tourist office. Listed as a Unesco World Heritage site as a major stop on the way of St. James, the basilica was built from the 11th to the 14th century. It is one of the largest Romanesque churches in Europe. It is characterized by a portly architecture and a rich sculpted decor. The relic's treasure of this main pilgrimage church is shown along the saint bodies' ambulatory trail and the two level crypt.
Excursion to Airbus Museum
The history of Toulouse aeronautics explored from Dewoitine to Airbus from 1920 to today illustrated by 40 model aircraft of the same scale with explanations and descriptive signs. Three interactive educational kiosks present information about the cockpit with its instruments, aerodynamics, the mechanics and the phases of flight of aircraft. A film which retraces the history of aviation in the region as well as a time-lapse video showing the accelerated construction of an A380 in 6 minutes completes the tour.

Today you head to Carcassonne- So spectacular is the view of the "12th-century" fortifications of the Cité that enclose the oldest parts of Carcassonne that it can't help but reawaken childhood fantasies of knights in armour. Much of the fortress is in fact a 19th-century reconstruction, but it was so successful in recapturing a fairytale image of a medieval castle that (some disgruntled historians notwithstanding) the Cité has become France's most popular tourist attraction outside of Paris.

Nestled in a valley in the southwestern part of the Hautes-Pyrenees, it is the scene of pilgrims gathering from all over the world. The city is also in a prime location. The Pyrenees are steps away to the south, and Spain is close by. It is the perfect destination for the adventure traveler, with numerous outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking and more close by. The Pyrenean cities of Pau and Tarbes are a few minutes away. The charming small spa village of Argeles-Gazost is about a 15-minute drive away, and it also features a casino.
