Detailed itinerary:-
Day 01: New Jalpaiguri Rly Stn / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok (About 125 kms / 4 hrs)
Meet & Greet on arrival, transfer to Gangtok – “The Capital City of Sikkim”. Check in to your hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 02: Gangtok
After breakfast proceed for a half day excursion trip of Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (13200 ft) 52 kms from Gangtok city. Tsomgo Lake freezes completely during the winter and is much revered by the locals. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 03: Gangtok (Local Sightseeing)
After breakfast proceed for a half day city tour covering Rumtek Monastery, Dro-Dul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom and Flower Show. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 04: Gangtok-Pelling (About 132 Kms / 5 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Pelling (6800 ft.) on the way visit Ravangla. One can enjoy the spectacular Eastern Himalayan Range from Pelling. On arrival check in to your hotel, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Pelling.
Day 05: Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing tour covering Rimbi Falls, Kanchanjunga waterfalls, Khachoedpalri Wish Lake, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, Rabdantse View Point and Helipad Ground. Overnight at Pelling.
Day 06: Pelling - Darjeeling (About 118 Kms /4 hrs).
This morning drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft.) It is one of the most magnificent Hill Resorts in the World. On arrival check in to your hotel,rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 07: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early Morning (at 4.00 am) drive to Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular Sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds third highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 08: Darjeeling – New Jalpaiguri Rly Stn / Bagdogra airport (About 90 kms / 3 hrs)
