Detailed itinerary:-

Day 01 : Cochin – Munnar (135 Kms / Approx. 4 Hrs)
On arrival at the airport at Cochin proceed to Munnar breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility, the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Unending expanse of tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests, aroma of spice scented cool air Munnar has all these and more. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 02 : Munnar
After breakfast at the hotel leave for a sightseeing tour around Munnarvisiting Mattupettysituated at a height of 1700m is famous for its highly specialized dairy farm - the Indo Swiss live stock project. Over a 100 varieties of high yielding cattle’s are reared here. Rajmala the famous hill station of Kerala is the natural habitat of the endangered the Nilgiri Tahr. Overnight at Munnar.

Day 03 : Munnar – Thekkady (124 Kms / Approx 3 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Thekkady known for its proud mountains, winding valleys, scented plantation and crisp air. The main attraction is the Periyar WildlifeSanctuary. Transfer and check in at the hotel. Later, leave for a cruise (Own Cost) on Lake Periyar to see the animals in their natural habitat. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat on the lake. The greatest attraction of Periyar remains the large herds of wild elephants that come down to the lake's edge. Overnight at Thekkady.

Day 04 :Thekkady – Alleppey (155 Kms / Approx. 4 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Alleppey know as the "Venice of the East" and famous for its boat races, houseboats, coir products, fish and lakes. Arrive and check in at the houseboat. Experience the opportunity of a lifetime viewing the scenic beauty of Kerala by traversing the backwaters. The boat cruise along the backwaters of Alleppey gives one first hand experience of the life style; toddy tapping, fishing for small fry, Coir-making, prawn farming. Overnight at the houseboat in Alleppey.

Day 05 : Alleppey - Kumarakom (51 Kms / Approx. 1 ½  Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Kumarakom a breathtakingly beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with water lilies. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Later leave for a cruise on the eastern banks of the Vembanad Lake, thereafter proceed to visit the KumarakomBird Sanctuary located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake. Local varieties such as waterfowls, cuckoos and owls as well as migratory Siberian cranes can be viewed here. Overnight at Kumarakom.

Day 06 : Kumarakom -  Kovalam (185 Kms / Approx. 4 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel depart from Kumarakom and proceed to Kovalam known as   the "Paradise of the South" and famous world over for its exotic beach, water sports and relaxing resorts. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Kovalam.

Day 07 : Kovalam – Kanyakumari - Kovalam
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Later, proceed for an excursion to Kanyakumari essentially a temple town and famous for its sunrise and sunset. Enjoy a local sightseeing. Visit Kumari Amman Temple one of the most important temple sites in South India. Gandhi Memorial built in memory of Gandhiji. Here the last remains of Gandhiji are kept for public viewing. Swami Vivekananda Memorial on a seaside is a large memorial dedicated to the greatest social reformer Swami Vivekanand. Overnight at Kovalam.

Day 08 : Kovalam - Trivandrum - Mumbai (approx.13 Kms)
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to the airport at Trivandrum to board a flight back home. Return with wonderful memories of your tour with "Equino Fun  Holidays".
