Detailed itinerary:-
Day 01 : Srinagar
Welcome to Srinagar. A romantic Kashmiri city Srinagar is situated around glistening lakes and snowy tree forested mountains. Transfer and check in at the hotel. After lunch visit the MughalGardenconsidered the best in the Kashmir Valley. It consists of Shalimar Garden also called the "Garden of Love" where numerous fountains dazzle with their display. Nishat Baghsituated on the banks of the picturesque Dal Lake has well maintained lawns, fragrant flowers and colored fountains. Chashma Shahi is the smallest and the most beautiful of all gardens built by Shah Jehan. Shankaracharya Temple one of the oldest shrines in the valley dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva situated on the hill bang opposite the Dal Lake. In the late evening enjoy a Shikara ride on the Dal Lake one of the most beautiful and picturesque lakes. After a soothing, relaxing ride overnight at Srinagar.
Day 02 : Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar (85 kms/ 03 hrs)
Enjoy your breakfast in the Hotel. Later, depart for an excursion to Sonmarg also known as the "Golden Meadow". One of the smallest resort in Kashmir, lying in the heart of the gorgeous valley carved by the river Sindh, Sonmarg is also known as the "Gateway to Ladakh" and is an excellent place for trekking. The Thajiwas glacier is a major attraction and can be visited on ponies ( own cost). After a wonderful day at Sonmarg return to the Houseboat/Hotel in the evening. Overnight at the Hotel at Srinagar.
Day 03 : Srinagar – Gulmarg (48 Kms / Approx. 2 Hrs)
Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel. Later, proceed to Gulmarg also known as the "Meadow ofFlowers". A trip to this land will transport one to a beautiful world of flowers. The snow capped peaks also add to the grandeur of this land. Gulmarg's green golf courses and the gondola lift are very popular tourist attractions. It has the world's highest golf course. One can enjoy a pony ride as well as a Gondola ride to Khilanmarg . It’s the place for enjoying long walks through woods and green hills. Overnight at Gulmarg.
Day 04 : Gulmarg – Pahalgam
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Later, proceed to Pahalgam also known as the "Valley of Shepherds". Situated at the confluence of the Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder River it's associated with the annual Amarnath Yatra. Arrive and check in at the hotel. The region is extremely popular among tourists for its outdoor activities like fishing, horse riding, golf and trekking. Pahalgam presents a glamorous look due to its pine forests, snow clad mountains, healthy climates, vast meadows and pastures. Overnight at Pahalgam.
Day 05 : Pahalgam – Aru – Pahalgam (15 kms/ 45 mins)
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to an excursion trip to Aru (option tour). Spend your leisure day in Aru with horse ride (options). Return back to Pahalgam. Overnight at Pahalgam.
Day 06 : Pahalgam - Srinagar (96 Kms / Approx. 3 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Srinagar. Arrive and check in at the Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Srinagar.
Day 07 : Srinagar – Onward Journey
After breakfast at the hotel proceed towards the airport to board a flight for your onward journey. Return with splendid memories of your tour with “Equino Fun Holidays”.
