DAY 01: Mumbai - Nairobi Arrive at JKI Airport in Nairobi and transfer to the Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Over night at hotel.
DAY 02: Nairobi - Samburu After breakfast, begin your drive to Samburu game reserve. Pass through plantations of coffee and pineapple before crossing the equator line where you will have a short demonstration. Arrival at Samburu and check in. Enjoy your sumptuous lunch, proceed for an afternoon game viewing. Samburu game reserve is one of the famous game reserves in Kenya because of the peculiar wild animals that only abound in this area. Dinner and overnight at Samburu.
DAY 03: Samburu
Early morning drive off for an adventurous game drive. You will stand in awe when looking at what nature has bestowed upon you. Return to the lodge for buffet breakfast. Mid morning at leisure. After lunch spend a few hours in peaceful passage of time enjoying the generosity of nature. Proceed for another exploration of this harshly beautiful reserve. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 04: Samburu - Ark After breakfast drive to Aberdares National Park. After lunch, transfer to The Ark, a tree lodge deep in the heart of the Aberdare National Park. Game viewing here is different - the animals come to you instead of you going to them. Spend the night comfortably watching forest game as they come to lick salt at the flood-lit waterhole down below. Dinner and overnight at The Ark.
DAY 05: Ark - Lake Nakuru Morning, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will pass by the Thompson Falls where you will have a short stop over. Arrive at the Lake Nakuru Lodge. Enjoy a buffet lunch. Rest or take a dip in the beautiful swimming pool. Afternoon game viewing drive in the Lake Nakuru National Park. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 06: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara After breakfast drive to the Maasai Mara game. There is an adventure club for children; here children can participate in activities like arrow and bow making, butterfly catching etc. After lunch go for your first game viewing drive in this magnificent reserve. The greatest attraction in the Mara is watching the animals in their natural element; a lion’s roar, a cheetah making a kill, an elephant trumpeting in anger etc. Overnight at Maasai Mara.
DAY 07: Maasai Mara Wake up this morning to a lovely African sunrise. Enjoy your buffet breakfast. Drive off to another adventurous safari. The early mornings and evenings are the best times to watch the big cats hunt. You will also drive up to Hippo Point in Mara river where you will watch crocodiles basking at the river bank and hippos half submerged in the water. You will enjoy your picnic lunch at the “ Hippo Point”. Continue with another exciting evening safari, return to the camp. Dinner and overnight at Maasai Mara..
DAY 08: Maasai Mara - Nairobi - Depart After breakfast check out and transfer to the Airport for your home bound flight. Return home with all the happy memories of your tour with Equino Fun Holidays.
