DAY 02:
After an American breakfast, you proceed for a full day tour to the Casela Bird Park (entry not included) which has a collection of thousands of different varieties of birds. One of the rarest birds, the Mauritian Pink Pigeon, can be seen here. See the rainbow colored earth “Chamarel”. In the district of Black River, see coloured dunes of volcanic ash in seven colours. Visit the natural lake of “Grand Basin,” resting in the crater of an extinct volcano, a holy place for Hindus, specially on Mahashivaratri. Indian Dinner. Overnight at hotel. |
DAY 03:
After breakfast, visit the “Ile-Aux-Cerfs”, where you have a choice. After breakfast, day free or take “Domaine Les Pailles,” an optional underwater sea walk on the ocean bed. Indian Dinner. Overnight at hotel. |
DAY 04:
After breakfast, City Tour of Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius. See the Pamplemousses Gardens (North tour) which boasts 500 different species of plants and the Palipot Palms, which flower once every 60 years after which they die. Indian Dinner. Overnight at hotel. |
