Itinerary 1 : Geneva - Chamonix

Arrive at Geneva Airport and transfer by road to Chamonix, the world famous alpine village at the foothills of Mont Blanc and the host of the first winter Olympic in 1924. An hour away from Geneva, Aosta in Italy and lake Annecy, also known as the Venice of the Alps; Chamonix promises a great vacation to one and all.

Check in at the hotel for 3 nights of comfortable stay. Spend the day at leisure, while choosing from a variety of things to do, Chamonix offers a variety of restaurants serving French and world cuisine, including two Indian restaurants.

Itinerary 2 : Chamonix - Mont Blanc

Breakfast at hotel. This morning, take the Aiguille du Midi cable car, the highest in Europe, from the valley floor to the summit at 3842m (12,605ft ), Often in summer time it is possible to spot climbers on their way up this face towards the summit of the Aiguille du Midi. From the terraces of the top station the sight of the Alps is incredible, here you can take in the spectacular views of the Swiss, French and Italian Alps. On a clear day it is possible to see the Matterhorn, Monta Rosa and the Grand Combin. An elevator inside the rock rises the final 42m to the top terrace at 3842m. This is the closest you can get to the Mont Blanc without climbing.

After an exhilarating morning, visit the Chamonix luge park, a fun attraction for everyone in your family to enjoy. The roller coaster in the mountains is 1300m long with jumps, turns and spins of 540° – you’re in the driver’s seat so go as fast as you dare! In the rest of the park there is a whole range of attractions on offer – more than 15 activities to entertain children of all ages. Everyone can enjoy the slides, trampolines, chair lift, nautical jet, flying boat, water pistols, comet ride and motorcycle go-karts.

Itinerary 3 : Chamonix

After breakfast, the day is at leisure to explore the beautiful Chamonix and its surrounds, choose from the many options available.

The Mer de Glace, the Ice Cave and the Montenvers Train are among the biggest attractions in the Chamonix valley. The Mer de Glace is the largest glacier in France, 7kms long and 200m deep. To access the Mer de Glace and the Ice Cave in Chamonix, take the little train of the Montenvers, This funicular railway climbs from the valley floor to the impressive Mer de Glace glacier.

Don't miss the colourful weekly Chamonix market and their range of local produce. Many small alpine towns have markets on different days of the week. It is a wonderful way to discover the local produce and traditional foods.

You also have an option to visit the capital of Haute-Savoie, Annecy, also known as the "Venice of the Alps" for its medieval architecture and a stunning lake. One of the most beautiful towns is France.

Another option is to cross the Mont Blanc Tunnel and head to Italy and the Courmayeur Aosta Valley. There you'll be delighted with the Italian welcome, food and all the rest.

After an exciting day, return back to the hotel.

Itinerary 4 : Chamonix – Montreux

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Montreux.

Montreux is a traditional resort town on Lake Geneva, nestled in a sheltered Lake Geneva bay, surrounded by vineyards and backdrop of snow covered Alps.  It is  known for the Montreux Jazz Festival, held in July. The town's promenade is lined with flowers, sculptures, Mediterranean trees and grand Belle Époque buildings.

On arrival at train station, proceed to hotel and check in for a three night stay. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore this marvelous town with spectacular beauty and and its many attractions.

Itinerary 5 : Montreux

Enjoy two days exploring Montreux and Lake Geneva Region, which has so much to offer, choose from the many options available.

In Montreux – Vevey visit the Chaplin World, an immersive Charlie Chaplin Museum honoring Charlie Chaplin in his former home, with interactive displays. Take a trip to the magnificent medieval island castle, Château de Chillon, with ramparts, formal halls and a chapel with 14th-century murals; Queen: The Studio Experience, is a museum dedicated to the British rock group; Swiss Vapeur Parc – exhibiting miniature Swiss landmarks, Lavaux UNESCO World Heritage site, among many other.

Enjoy a breathtaking lake cruise to Lausanne, visit the The Olympic Museum , the Majestic Lausanne Cathedral overlooking the city. Children may enjoy AQUATIS Aquarium-Vivarium - a totally immersive and interactive scenography using innovative digital technologies.

Ride the Golden Pass with its Chocolate and Cheese trains. Swiss Chocolate Train-a first-class-only train excursion operating from Montreux. The train runs on tracks of the Montreux-Oberland-Bernois Railway. It leaves Montreux at 9:00 a.m. and returns at 6:00 p.m. Coffee and croissants are served on the train on its way to the medieval cheese making town of Gruyères. In Gruyères, the train pauses for an excursion by bus to a cheese factory and the local castle. Then you board the train again for the trip to Broc, home of the Cailler- Nestlé chocolate factory, where you can watch a multilingual video, observe chocolate production, sample the finished product, and buy Cailler or Nestlé candy bars at factory prices.

You may visit Glacier 3000 and its eternal ice, with fun activities for the entire family. The cable car, offers breathtaking views that sweep over the famous Matterhorn, Jungfrau and Mont Blanc which makes this trip well worth it. Once on top, there are various activities for young and young at heart, the one kilometer Alpine Coaster - the worlds highest bobsleigh track, husky dog sled rides, the snow bus and skiing.

Itinerary 7 : Montreux - Geneva - City tour

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and proceed to Montreux train station for transfer to the romantic city of Geneva. Arrive at Geneva transfer to hotel. Today you go on a tour of this enchanting city.

 

Geneva is Switzerland's most international city.  It houses the United Nations HQ. Museum of the Red Cross & Red Crescent, Permanent exhibition highlighting the ongoing humanitarian work of the Red Cross & Red Crescent.

Blessed by Lake Geneva and surrounded by mountains, Geneva is a city endowed with museums. Take a cruise on the lake to visit some of the beautiful monuments along the lake. See the iconic Jet d' Eau, the world's tallest fountain, shoots water into the air with incredible force (200kmh/124mph and 1360 horsepower) to create a 140m (469ft) plume. Also visit one of the most interesting buildings in Europe, St. Peter's Cathedral and the Ile Rousseau.

In the evening you may opt to relish a Swiss dinner or choose from the variety of international cuisines offered at the lake side cafes and restaurants.
