On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, take a flight transfer to Cape Town, one of the most beautiful regions in the world and mother city of Africa. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Zulu cuisine offers marvellous menus for travelling taste buds. From the comfort of isibhede and phutu porridge to the intoxication of utywala beer and the fiery perfection of chakalaka relish, Zulu dishes are seasoned with history, infused with culture and full of fine flavours. After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a City Tour of Cape Town. This tour gives you the opportunity to discover the spirit of the Mother City, experience her vibrant cultures and history and enjoy botanical scenery. Highlights include: Table Mountain – weather permitting (otherwise Signal Hill), Scenic coastal drive through Clifton & Sea Point, Green Market Square, District Six, Company Gardens, and Scenic City tour passing the Houses of Parliament, the City Hall, the Castle and Slave lodge and V&A Waterfront. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or take an optional tour to Robben island.
After breakfast, depart for full day Cape Point Tour. This awe-inspiring tour will take you to the towering headland known as Cape Point. Magnificent beaches, breathtaking views, historic and picturesque coastal villages will be enjoyed along the way. After being picked up from your accommodation, you will travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look-out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. From here, you will go through Chapman's Peak, one of the world's most breathtaking coastal drives to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve, which has magnificent fynbos vegetation, birdlife, endemic antelope species and zebra, historic lighthouses and shipwrecks. After lunch at a nearby restaurant (not included), you will go on to historic Simon's Town, with charming Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. The Zambezi River below the Victoria Falls is one of the wildest one-day whitewater runs in the world. We spend the day enjoying the white water rafting adventure. The river is also recognized by rafting and kayaking enthusiasts as one of the top ten paddling rivers. The British Canoe Union classified the Batoka Rapids as a grade 5. It has extremely difficult, long and violent rapids, steep gradients, big drops and pressure areas. This is a high volume, pool-drop river with little exposed rock neither in the rapids nor in the pools below the rapids. Upon completion of the white water rafting we visit several vantage points from where the mighty Victoria Falls can be viewed. Overnight stay at your hotel. Day 3: Livingstone – Onward journey (B) After breakfast depart for the airport for onward journey.
